• Avoid using corded phones, but it's fine to use cell phones or cordless phones.
• Do not lie on concrete floors or lean against concrete walls.
• Stay away from windows and doors, and stay off porches.
• Don't use any electrical equipment that's connected to an outlet, including computers.
• It's best to stay away from the shower or any plumbing, like washing dishes, and avoid windows and doors.

Autistic children who wander are a community-wide concern. This new alert system will inform neighbors and the media, so we'll know what to watch for and how to help.

The Florida Highwaymen were a collective of self‑taught Black artists who transformed the visual identity of the Treasure Coast through bold, roadside landscape paintings. Their work is now recognized as a significant chapter of American cultural heritage, rooted in Fort Pierce and shaped by the region’s history, environment, and community.
