Candidate's Statement

Steven Giordano is a homegrown resident of Port St. Lucie, proudly calling this community home since 1989. A devoted father of two, small business owner, and public safety professional, Steven has dedicated his life to serving and protecting the people of St. Lucie County.

With nearly 17 years of public safety experience, Steven served with the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office and later as a Nuclear Security Officer at the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant. His experience in law enforcement, security, leadership, and emergency preparedness provides the real-world knowledge needed to address the challenges facing our growing city.

Steven is also a licensed Florida Realtor, licensed General Contractor, and successful local business owner who understands the importance of fiscal responsibility, economic growth, and customer service. His approach to leadership is simple: put residents first, listen to the community, and deliver results through transparency and accountability.

Having grown up, worked, and raised his family in Port St. Lucie, Steven understands the concerns residents face every day, including traffic congestion, rising costs, overdevelopment, public safety, and government accountability. As Mayor, he is committed to protecting the quality of life that makes Port St. Lucie a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Steven's mission is to bring a better quality of life to Port St. Lucie residents and help people on a massive level. He believes local government should serve the people, not politicians. It is time for leadership that listens, takes action, and puts our community first.
